I am a graphic designer and illustrator which allows me to practice an interest in drawing together unusual and sometimes disparate topics. I enjoy finding unconventional routes to create design solutions.
Bloodtone is an editorial piece uniting the world of Forensic Science and Visual Communication.
It draws together scientific data regarding colours of blood, and how it appears under different conditions, and the recognised styling and function of a design system such as Pantone.
The editorial is a learning instrument and reference, designed to be used on the go at crime scenes. For use by forensic scientists, crime scene investigators and students, the book and leaflet allow blood stains to be identified and compared to colour swatches.
